Assisting Buyers and Assistant Buyers in the preparation of information which is required to help formulate the range plan and for Senior Buyer formulate the half year business plan obtaining and chasing information to facilitate Critical Path management. 2 years general office administration experience working with all up to date PC packages including Microsoft Excel
• Actively manage the samples and product that come into the business and assist in ensuring that selected samples arrive on time, recorded and maintained to a suitable standard and that displays are accurately graded at time of selection
• Collate Competitor Shopping information undertaken by the buying team
• Maintain data base of current and new supplier addresses, product specification sheets and records of all other information systematically
• Regular and courteous liaison with the supplier base
• Ensure all new lines to the business are defined accurately and with all relevant information in place
• Manage the return and filing of specification and price banding sheets
• Provide any additional information requires between buying and marketing
