Editorial Contribution to Online Recruitment Magazine 'The Future of the Industry for Job Boards'... In the current recruitment market budgets for advertising have been reduced and the consequence of this has been a move towards using a generalist job board as a one stop shop for generalist recruitment consultancies who recruit across a number of verticals. The result of this though is that these companies can loose their profile within the respective verticals and this can have a knock on effect in terms of brand awareness both for candidates and potential clients as both prefer companies who are experts in their field and presence on a niche job board reflects this.
